Collection of Academic Attire

ACADEMIC ATTIRE COLLECTION SESSION:

Graduands (or their representatives) can collect the Academic Attire as follows:

Date: 28 - 31 October 2022 (Fri - Mon)
Time: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Venue: Examination Building, UM

(Refer to collection schedule below)

ITEMS TO BRING:

  1. Graduate Tracer Study survey slip
  2. QR Ticket for Collection of Academic Attire (generated from MAYA Portal)
  3. ePay receipt (if applicable; refer to 'Additional Informatio' below)

ITEMS RECEIVED DURING COLLECTION:

  1. One set of Academic Attire (Set includes Gown, Bonnet and Hood  for Doctorate Degree; Gown, Mortar Board and Hood for Bachelor's and Master's Degree; Gown and Mortar Board for Diploma)
  2. One Graduand Car Sticker
  3. Two (2) Guest Cards
     

HEALTH AND SAFETY REMINDERS:

  1. Only graduands/representatives with “Low Risk” status as per MySejahtera are allowed to enter the collection venue. 
  2. Graduands/Representatives required to wear face mask before entering the collection venue. The face mask should be kept on at all times while within the premise. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Graduands who have NOT RECEIVED
their academic scrolls
prior to the Convocation Ceremony

Academic Attire can be rented/collected using the generated QR ticket, according to scheduled sessions without any deposit fee payment.

Graduands who have RECEIVED
their academic scrolls
prior to the Convocation Ceremony

  1. A refundable deposit payment (RM150.00) for the Academic Attire rental is applicable. Confirm attendance via MAYA Portal and make payment via e-Pay (epay.um.edu.my > Rental). 
  2. Bring along generated QR ticket and ePay receipt, and collect Academic Attire according to scheduled sessions.
  3. The deposit fee is refundable upon complete inspection of the returned Academic Attire in good condition. Any damage to the Academic Attire (e.g. tears, permanent stains, burns etc.) will result in the forfeiture of full deposit amount.

Graduands who wish to PURCHASE

  1. Refer to Academic Attire purchase price rate in the following section.
  2. Confirm attendance via MAYA Portal and make full payment via e-Pay (epay.um.edu.my > Sale).
  3. Bring along generated QR ticket and ePay receipt, and collect Academic Attire according to scheduled sessions.

Note: Graduands or their representatives are required to strictly adhere to the Academic Attire Collection Schedule. Walk-ins outside of the scheduled collection sessions are only allowed to collect their Academic Attire after 4.00pm.
