The Graduate Tracer Study (also known as Sistem Kajian Pengesanan Graduan or SKPG 1) is an annual study conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to identify the employment status after graduation. Aims/Objectives of the study include:

  • To gather information on graduates’ perspectives on their academic programs, facilities and the impact of the teaching and learning processes in the university
  • To help the university in improving the quality of the services offered and to enhance the national education system in general.
  • To study the performance of graduates in the job market upon degree completion.


It is compulsory for every graduand to complete the online survey through https://great.mohe.gov.my/ and click on ‘SKPG’. Graduands are advised to complete the details as accurately as possible and rest assured, graduands' feedback will be kept confidential. 

The online survey access of SKPG1 is open to UM Class of 2022 Graduands as follows:

Graduands Class of 2022 Access Date
Graduands with Senate’s approval from October 2021 to July 2022  03 October 2022 until 30 November 2022
Graduands with Senate’s approval in August 2022 to September 2022

After 10 October 2022 until 30 November 2022 
(if SKPG1 access is unavailable as per the date above)

If graduands' employment status changes, please visit https://great.mohe.gov.my/ and click on ‘SKPG 2.0’. The employment status update can be made the next day after completing SKPG 1. Graduates are encouraged to update records when there are changes in employment status and information. Subsequent updates are only allowed the following day.
